How to turn off URL Stripping

 
If you have the Norton Internet Security/Personal Firewall or the ZoneAlarm software on your computer, you might get the error message below when trying to access listings through WebSearch.
 
WebSearch Error Message:
Note: The information in the MBR WebSearch database is dynamic and can not be bookmarked. Also, if you are using any software that strips your referring URL, you will not be able to reach the MBR WebSearch database.  Thank you.

For Norton Internet Security 2002 ~ Solution:
1.  Open the Norton Internet Security program.
2.  Click on Options.
3.  Click on Internet Security.
4.  Under the General Tab, click on the Advanced Options? button.
5.  Click on the Privacy Tab.
6.  Under Browsing Privacy, set Referer to Permit.
7.  Click OK to close the Norton Internet Security Advanced Options window.
8.  Click OK to close the Norton Internet Security Options window.
9.  Exit Norton Internet Security.

For Norton Internet Security 2003 ~ Solution:
1.  Open the Norton Internet Security program.
2.  Click on Options.
3.  Click on Internet Security.
4.  Click on Web Content Tab.
5.  Click Global Settings Tab.
6.  Under Information about visited sites, set to Permit. 
7.  Click OK to close.
8.  Exit Norton Internet Security.

For Norton Internet Security 2004/2005/2006 ~ Solution:
1.  Open the Norton Internet Security program.
2.  Click on Privacy Control.
3.  Right Hand side, click on Configure.
4.  Click on Advanced
5.  Click on Add site (lower left corner) - www.mauiboard2.com, click OK
6.  Go to section ~ Information about visited sites, uncheck "Use default settings", and check "Permit"
7.  Click OK
8.  Click on Add site again (lower left corner) - this time add mauiboard2.com without the www, click OK
9.  Go to section ~ Information about visited sites, uncheck "Use default settings", and check "Permit"
10.  Click on Add site again (lower left corner) -  add websearch.ramaui.com without the www, click OK
11.  Go to section ~ Information about visited sites, uncheck "Use default settings", and check "Permit"   
12.  Click OK
13.  Click OK on Privacy control window
14.  Close Norton Internet Security

For Norton Personal Firewall ~ Solution:
1.  Open the Norton Personal Firewall Security Center:
2.  Select the "Options" button
3.  Select the "Web Content" tab
4.  In the lower left corner select the "Add Site" button
5.  In the new window add www.mauiboard2.com
6.  Press the "OK" button
7.  Make sure www.mauiboard2.com is highlighted in the left window.  Then change the "Global Settings" to "permit" for all five global settings (user default settings, information about visited sites, animated images, scripts, and flash animation)
8.  Press the "OK" button
9.  Repeat Steps 4 to 8, except enter websearch.ramaui.com for the website address
10.  You should now be able to access the site correctly
 
For ZoneAlarm ~ Solution:
1.  Open the ZoneAlarm program.
2.  Select PRIVACY on left navigation panel.
3.  Select MAIN tab on top right.
4.  Click CUSTOM under Ad Blocking.
5.  Select COOKIES tab, and uncheck ?Remove Private Header Information.?
6.  Click OK button at bottom of Custom Private Settings window and close ZoneAlarm window.
